Kick your day off in the heart of Downtown Seattle at Westlake Park. Grab a coffee and pastry to go and head to Pike Place Market (trust us, you can’t miss the sign!)

The market is the ideal location to see, eat and smell all of the things that make Seattle famous. Stop by the Pike Place Fish Market to throw a fish and take your picture with Rachel the Pig located right out front. Need another photo op? Head down Post Alley to stand in front of the Wall of Gum, we recommend NOT leaning against it!

The Seattle Waterfront is the perfect location for lunch. With a basket of fish and chips in hand, you can relax and take in the amazing views. Visit the shops along the waterfront and stop-by the VERY unique Ye Olde Curiosity Shop.

After seeing mummies and a few shrunken heads, you should be geared up and ready to take on the Pike Street Hillclimb as you work your way to the next location. (Fun Fact: The hillclimb rises over 100 feet over a distance of about 375 feet and is a perfect way to truly experience the “hills” in Seattle.)

Now that you’ve seen the market and the water it’s time to take in all of Downtown Seattle from The Smith Tower Observation Deck. Considered the original and most accessible view of Seattle, The Smith Tower Observation Deck provides breathtaking panoramic views of Mt. Rainier, and the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. Plus it’s the closest view in town of Safeco Field, Colman Ferry Terminal, and Pioneer Square – your final destination!

Pioneer Square offers more than 20 city blocks of beautiful architecture, art galleries, and unique independently-owned shops. It’s also an ideal location for a relaxing and delicious dinner – after all, you (and your feet) deserve it!
